Hey guys. I know this has been talked about before but I’m specifically looking for a good way to route the filler neck. I’m ls swapping my 82 k10 swb and want to ditch the dual tanks but the only thing hanging me up is the filler neck. How hard would it be to add a fuel door hack there and shave the front ones. I would like to avoid it sticking up in the bed so I don’t have to worry about breaking it. Show me what you guys have done!

I got a tank, the front and rear fuel tank crossmembers, and the inner/outer filler neck door panels that a guy had cut out of the donor K5 for $40 locally. I haven't decided if I'm going to use the K5 filler door parts and have the small hump right behind the passenger fender well, or if I'm going to build out a hidden filler behind the passenger tail light. Either way, I'll be shaving the saddle tank filler doors. I'm still collecting parts and rebuilding the motor, so I have a month or two before I'm ready to pull the trigger on either solution.
