The mounting bracket came with the seats for an additional $69. Direct bolt in.

Nope, the original color was charcoal.

Red is not a factory option in 1986 i believe. any red that year would have been maroon, not bright red. I do think it was an option for trucks a few years older though.

Right, Carmine red. My 82 K5 came with that color but it's closer to maroon. Not as red as yours.
