Man alive that thing is in great shape! :High 5: Welcome aboard. That is a favorite spot for rust to form. Right on that little panel under there. You should see what I have had to deal with with rust. :(

Doug's, I've had two set from two trucks, and been real happy with them, fair warning, a little on the pricey side.

Very nice Pickem'up! Looking forward to what you do with it cuz mine is an 84 C20 (Scotty) and I'm always looking for ideas. Love my truck and she has really been a work horse. You have a really solid project there. Good luck with her.

    Here's mine...

Here's a cold start video I made the other day. Carb needs to be replaced and there isn't a choke on Blue yet. So she dies a few times.

Thinking about a Edelbrock Carb but don't know what size to get:shrug:.
BTW thanks for all the great comments on my truck:D. Glad I found

Either have the stock carb redone by a quadrajet specialist, or go with a basic 650 Holley with vacuum secondaries. I'm not that fond of Edelbrock carbs.

Got me a Holley 670cfm truck avenger carb with a Weiand street warrior intake manifold. The carb needs a power valve but I thought I got a smoking deal:smoke2:. Just a little clean up and the'll look pretty:drool:
