Welcome to the forum from N. Texas!

You're gonna hate that POS 4 & 7 way hitch plug. You can't use them both simultaneously. I got rid of mine (after breaking off both covers) with a Hopkins combo connector like this one:

While pulling my car hauler with a '75 1/2 ton on it, an eighteen wheeler lost a tire tread. Didn't see it in time to swerve, and it bounced up and cut the wiring under the trailer, losing the turn signals/brake lights on the rear of the trailer. Had to keep the 7 way plugged in for the trailer brakes, but still needed turn and brake lights. Bought one of the magnetic light sets, which uses a flat four way. The way some idiot designed the plug, you can't open both covers simultaneously.

Nice rig! Old highway dept truck it looks like.
Like what you did with the ashtray as a mount for all the switches and charger. That’s clean.

Update. The th400 started leaking pretty bad from the bell housing, instead of pulling it apart, I pulled it out, sold the 350/th400. Got a smoking deal on a complete 2003 8.1 and allison for the same price I sold the 350 for. Cleaned the front of the truck, got rid of the surface rust, waiting for a dry day outside to primer and paint the bare metal areas. I removed the unnecessary wires from the engine bay and labelled the wires.

Years ago I had an '01 GMC 2500HD with the 8.1/Allison and 4.10's. That was a towing machine! Sorry I ever let that one go.
