I have a 79 K truck 4x4 with a 82 C10 cab. The title says 3/4 ton but it is 6 lug. Front disk rear drums. Being I did the cab swap twenty years ago I can not recall what master cylinder I used. The brakes have never been great but most likely the norm in the 70s. I recently read of NBS master cylinder swap in the OBS trucks. Has anyone tried this before and what were the results on these older trucks? The truck came new from the dealership with a snow plow and one ton front springs so I do not know if there is something odd about the braking system.
