Yeah I can't figure out where that old dealer front plate fits in the timeline. I have a hard time believing it's been there since new. But I know for sure by the late 80's the Burb was in Michigan.

And that visor is already in the hands of @Customblue so you will have to talk him out of it, lol.

I removed all the grille trim today and hit it all with a can of paint stripper. Got most of the black paint off. I was surprised to find out the PO actually hit it with some sandpaper before spraying the black paint. It's ok though, it cleaned up good enough for what I want. When the weather gets warmer, I'll spray some trim black on the insets of the headlight bezels.

Had the rear wheels off today, figured I'd change the rear wheels while I was at it. Now I need to get a couple tires so I can mount up the front wheels too. I'll admit, it's taking on a bit of a hillbilly appearance, but that's ok because I like how it looks with some meat out back.

If those are 16.5" tires, good luck finding one in a 33. I wanted to go this route with my truck, but it's not cost effective. Firestone still makes a 9.25-16.5". Super Swamper is the only other one in a 33 or larger, but their tires are over $300 ea.

Yeah they are 16.5's and 9.75 wide. The stock tires are also 16.5's, 9.50 I think. 33's in 16.5 used to be super duper common around here, but not anymore. I'll keep my eye out for used ones, as I don't want to buy new. With the goal being a 4x4 conversion with a 4 or 6 inch lift, I'll buy new tires then.

Even then I plan to stick with 16.5's. I've got these Outlaw II's and also an old set of Jackman's that I really want to use. And I know they really suck, but I want to end up running a set of either Wrangler RT 36's or a set of Thornbirds. Yep, I said Thornbirds. I've always liked how they look and that's the only reason I'd get them.

I'm sticking with 33" radials on mine, but I'm going to 16x10's this time. Outlaw II's were my go to wheels. I still may use them on this truck. Here's a few of my old squares sporting those wheels. Can you tell I liked them?
