Anyone here looking for some El Camino or G-body parts? I've got a bunch of '84 El Camino parts I'm about to throw onto CL.

Right off the bat, the frame, floors, quarters and doors are badly rusted. The dash has a bunch of cracks.

Has a lot of good body trim. The front clip is pretty decent (no hood). All glass is good. There's no rot in the window channels. The doors are power. Has a tilt column. Also has the full gauge cluster with tach for a V8, although it's only the 85mph speedo. Also has a decent blue split bench seat.

Can get pics if anyone needs something specific.

Do you have a picture of the cluster? I'm wondering if the gauges are the same size as the C/Ks.

I wish that Elco had a third brake light. I could sure use the internal piece for one of those.

For your Caprice? I've got stop lights from a couple different Celebrities, I'd imagine one of those would work for you?

Yep. I’ll go out there in a little bit and see if I can get a number off it. I know it says “Made in Spain” on it, but maybe it has a GM part number. If not, I’ll just take a picture.

It's good. It's the later style with the 4 headlights and the park lamps below them. Grille and headlight bezels are driver quality, due to the chrome being thin in areas.

Are the Headlight buckets fiberglass?

Depends on what you mean by headlight bucket? What I call the buckets are the stamped steel pieces that the headlight bulb screws into. Then those are held to the fiberglass header panel with the springs and adjusters.

Here’s the portion that I need and then the whole thing. If you have a gray one in good shape, I’ll take the whole assembly. I can touch this one up, though.

I've got a gray one already removed, in a box somewhere. I think they are identical, except maybe the angle of the boot that meets the glass.

That would make sense. If you find it, I’d be interested in seeing it and possibly getting it from you. The problem with mine is the clip’s broken on the brown piece so if you plug it in it’ll work for a little while until it slips out. I could tape it or something, but I’d rather it be fixed right and forget about it.
