Got these cross-posted in other places but figured I’d post em here too.
Got 2 77-80 gmc grilles, both are the versions w/o the middle chrome trim, and have the GMC emblem embedded, rather than secured via posts/thread cutting washers. One of em is missing some fins by the latch release #1. The other is intact but has a small chip #2 (pictured)
Both have all mounting tabs intact.
#1 is 140 + shipping.
#2 is 250 + shipping.

#1 (zoom in above gmc emblem to see the missing fins)

#2 see the second photo to see the only visible damage.

Someone knew where the hood release was and they went for it.

mine is actually surprisingly in good shape considering the rest... but I bet it’s because of the cast iron that’s been in front of it since it was young

Full send trying to pop the hood.
The grille on my 79 is also in great shape! After restoring a gmc, I quickly realized how much of a pain in the ass finding original parts are so I try to buy any original stuff that’s branded

Do you have any pics of how the sides mount to the core support? I already have a factory grill to replace a stupid billet bar grill that was on mine when I bought it, but it has some half-ass mounting brackets and I can't seem to find any pics of what the factory mounts looked like.

I can take some for ya tmrw. I want to say there isn’t a mount for the sides, but rather 3 tabs up top and 3 tabs on the bottom, screwed in and attached via sliding plastic body nuts. Surely a GMC illustrated parts/service manual for 77-80 would have it shown too
