Hey guys, I switched out my original 3 speed trans for a 700R4 and there isn't hard shifting, but it does seem to shift maybe 2k higher than when i'd expect it to shift. I'm able to get into all the gears. Every one of them works but it shifts at a higher RPM. Any idea what the problem would be?

TV cable adjustment is very important as well as correct alignment with the throttle cable. 700’s will burn up pretty quick if adjustment isn’t correct.
I have learned so much from YouTube. This vid helps you understand the TV cable.

@Kim Burke , that's the ticket. I'd bet that's it and I'm a huge youtube advocate for this kind of stuff. Insane amounts of knowledge out there.
