I haven't removed the light switch yet, can someone tell me if the light switch for a 73 C10 is a 7 or 8 terminal? I'm finding both.

It's a standard truck with gauges. No AC. I converted the truck from a 6 cylinder manual to a V8 with AT.

The P/N for that switch is 1995216 (GM) or D1505A (Delco).

It has 7 male terminal tabs.

The wiring harness will have 8 sockets but only 6 wires coming in - the 2 sockets shown below will be empty

Terminal 3 (black circle) is jumped to 5 and was reserved for an additional lighting circuit, but was not used. Terminal 7 would be where shown by the yellow circle. But if your switch is original, there won't even be a terminal 7.

Great info. I'll be taking the old one out before I buy another one.
