So, I’m looking to smooth out the ride on my 83 suburban and I’ve read into the 52” spring swap on the front, my question is that I’ve read that the stock rear springs will lift the front 4”. So if I buy lowering springs will it all work with not as much changes as if it was lifted. I’m not looking to go that high but I’d still like the smoother ride of 52”s

Be careful 52’s are SOFT, they’re popular for giving more flex. I run 52’s and my Blazer drives like a boat on water. It’ll even hold a lean for a moment before it settles back level.

Yeah I’m hoping the lowered leaf springs will be a little stiffer to help with that, I’m just more concerned if it’ll work or if there will be interference issues

I don't know about lowered springs but mine are 2.5" lift Superlift springs, I thought they'd be a little stiff but they are still super soft.
