Hey guys. I just completed a long block swap on my 1989 GMC K3500 454/SM456/NP205 truck. During the swap I got a completely rebuilt quadrajet carburetor and I replaced temp senders, oil pressure sender, hoses, belts, etc.
The truck runs fine and I got the carb adjusted properly. The old carb's choke never worked and was a bear to start. This choke works correctly and operates smoothly, but the choke light stays on.
Also, my oil pressure gage is at 30 when the truck is off and the temperature gage reads 100 when the truck is off as well. WTH...?
