I’ve seen them for 1992 and up Suburbans but not the older ones. I understand the aesthetic interest, plus Suburbans aren’t in everyone’s backyard there like they are here so you can’t just go buy a 4x4 Suburban and call it a day. I think the kit doesn’t exist because the market isn’t there were most of these vehicles live. If people wanted to lift one here, they’ll just get a 4x4 and do it. It’s definitely possible, but it might be a mish mash of pieces or self-fabricated parts to make it happen. If they can do it to a Caprice or a Monte Carlo of the same vintage, the Suburban should be doable as well. Maybe someone more lift savvy can give you some more specific pointers.

You can use the GMT400 lift spindles, the rear is the same as a K10, flip kit blocks or springs.

Replace your soft front springs with new ones rated for the 454 with AC. This will lift your front end a few inches and along with the higher
spring rate the truck will turn and handle better.
If your body mount rubbers are looking sad, replace them and add 1" of lift to the body... please no more than 1"!

Run 31 - 32" all terrain tires and some kind of locker in the rear diff. Decent shocks... with a little driver skill and adequate power it's
amazing how dirt-worthy a well setup 2x is.
JUST STAY OUT OF THE MOUNTAINS in the winter :Nonono:

I'm assuming you have a 3/4 ton since you have a 454. I use the following set up on a C20 3+3 and an '88 Suburban C20, both with 454's and A/C. The air bags gave me about 2" of lift, so I added a 2" cast, not aluminum, blocks in the rear. Ride was still good. If you put too much air in the front, it bottoms out the A-arms on the frame and it won't let the suspension droop. I ran the front air lines through the front license plate bolt holes. I don't pictures of my Suburban, but here's the truck. I fit old school 33x12.50x16.5's with 9.75" wide wheels. It only required minor trimming on the front fenders.
