Help. I bought a 1978 K15. 350ci. Turbo 350 transmission. It has a 2 stick transfer case. The manufacturer tag says the truck is a camper model. Can anyone send me the shift pattern for the 2 stick? No pattern inside the truck. Thanks again for the help.

That's aftermarket. What transfer case do you have? It'll be either the np203 or an np205.

Based on the placement of the left stick, I'm guessing you have a 203.

My setup: SM465 / NP205 with twin stick mod.

The "twin stick" mod just allows you to shift each axle independently (Low, Neutral, High). For obvious reasons, the shift rails are machined so it's mechanically impossible to "mismatch" ranges while in 4WD (you can't have one axle in Low and the other axle in High).

2WD can be accomplished with either front wheel drive or rear wheel drive and use High or Low Range as needed.

The pictures show rear axle in high range and front axle in neutral...the normal daily mode used by most everyone.

Admittedly it's a bit gimmicky but I needed to rebuild my transfer case anyhow and the OEM shift rails were in rough shape, rusty and pitted so...why not?

How many bonus points do I get for my excessive use of green metal roofing screws on the trim rings?
Don't judge...it's what I had.

I'll see your three and raise you one.

Early Bronco? What's the combination there?

I'll hopefully be part of the 4-stick club later this year. Ranger torque splitter, SM465, twin stick 205.

IHC Scout.
T90 trans, dana 18 case and a warn/saturn OD. The OD is a reproduction but was a factory option.

What’s the advantage of twin stick on a 203? Assuming you have the parts for single stick?
Or is it just the easiest install in a random or custom setup?

I'm running a NP 203 in my 75 GMC K-15 ..
Was thinking about doing a twin stick for awhile ...

But since I had to fabricate a mount cause of doing away with the factory mount, thought was to keep the Oem TC shifter ...

Reason for the homemade mount was the trans swap from a THM 400 to a 4L85E ..
Due to the adapters it took to marry the NP 203 to the 4L85 lost the mount up bolt positions ...

If I did manage to mount up the TC shifter in the factory location, the shifter would had been close to the back of the seat, that was due to the adapters (Two) and the trans adding a great deal of length ..

Kind of glad I vetoed the twin sticks ..
Got the looks of a transmission floor shifter going down for the TC shifter ..

Transmission shift is on the column ..

That 205 twin shift pattern is for a Ford 205. The GM has the front output on the right hand side.
