1987 chevy sm465 clutch rod

I just bought a 1987 Chevy V20 with the 4 speed sm465 , I need to know if the clutch rod that pushes the clutch fork has another piece on the clutch fork end , is there supposed to be another piece on the end of that rod ?

I cannot remember if it is one piece or two. I will check my manual (mine is for an 85)
