Here is my score, 1986 K2500 Silverado
Sitting for 13 years with no engine/Trans/Transfer

    Back story:
My good friend who is the ultimate crust picker got introduced to a woman who's husband passed away several years ago.
He helped her clean out the back yard of about 10 vehicles all in various states but most of them without engines.
The garage was STUFFED with most of the removed parts from all of the vehicles with some new parts, some partially rebuilt parts and a lot of used greasy junk.
After he offered the truck to me at way less then it took him for the labor to move it out of there, I jumped on this project.... I should have slowed down and taken a few breaths before saying Yes!

Back to stock as much as possible aside from a Transmission upgrade (details coming soon).

I got a block and a ton of parts in the back of the truck. Found two rebuilt heads which saved the day later on. Block turned out to be a later one piece main seal block without any of the other parts for it. Crank turned out to be a cast iron big block crank.
Both of those got donated to friends.

No transmission or Transfer was in the truck but we got a phone number of the guy who allegedly had the transmission.

I tracked him down, he had rebuilt the TH400 transmission and the 208 transfer for the previous owner and they had been sitting in the corner of his shop for 5 years. He said come get them and you owe me nothing.
