I've looked up and down everywhere for the OBD connector in my truck and cannot find it. Does my truck not have one? It's a vin code "M" K20. If it doesn't then how am I supposed to diagnose a check engine light?
An "M" engine code in the VIN indicates that the truck came equipped with a heavy duty emissions package (H5D/FED). It probably doesn't even have a typical ECM - one that would generate any real DTC's. Look on the firewall - if you see one of these - that is all you got for computer control:
