To keep story telling time short, i fab'd a twin turbo setup for a guys Silverado SS and part of his payment was this 1981 C-10. It was completely torn apart, cab was only sitting on the chassis. Only came with what you see, no engine, no trans, not even hardware was included... So this c10's new shot at life began by being ratchet strapped onto the trailer, ratchet strapped to itself and ratchet strapped to anything to keep it together, or on the trailer at least, for the ride back home.

Rounded up some hardware out of the good ol bolt bucket. On the way back i had to stop and fill up my jugs with "race gas" for the mustang (e-85)

Donor I picked up. 2003 Silverado 1500 5.3 flex fuel, 2wd 4l60e. Rusted to 'chit edition. Aka the 'Chitrado. I've never seen rust like this on an 03. Weld seems below doors literally split apart lol its badddddd. Surprisingly tho. Haven't had any problems with removing bolts. It must be the new can of WD-50 I've been using

Got the "'Chit-Rado" parts out, mostly. Still need to yank the throttle pedal and tac module and also the brake booster/master cyl and other misc things I might need or stuff I might try to retrofit into "ratchet strap" the squarebody.

5.3/4L60e 2wd pulled out. need to clean it up and seal it off from the 'chit floating around in the garage.

Also, got the bed hung up to do some work to and also work on the back half of the chassis. Note: If you do this, don't ask a random chick at the bar to help you find out if hanging your bed from the ceiling will be sturdy enough to do work on.....

Been busy working on a c10 and its robbed my time to work on a c10. Im very ok with it. But here is a update. Pic of C10 robbing my time followed by C10 sq body parts n 'chits.....

67 Stepside. 6.0 / 4L80e swap. 454LSX Camshaft. Nitrous Outlet Plate kit. This is his occasional daily, gets driven HARD. Just gave it a new intake, fixed some minor misc things and was tuning it for WOT and added electric fans which i also enabled on the tune so they are temp controlled by ecu. BUT the 12 Bolts Eaton Posi decided to shit its gears... So its at a standstill until he can get parts to me and once that's fixed I will finish the tune.
