Awesome. I regret to this day not buying a 78 Z28 that I had the opportunity to buy back in '97. Love this era of Camaro :)

Nice, Z28's are my favorite Camaros.
Not surprised you found some body work to do.
"Cave it, and pave it".
Will stay with black or paint another color?

Definitely going to stay black for a few years. I've thought about painting it the same color as my suburban.

I vote black.
Just noticed you have a 10 bolt diff. May need to step up to a 12 bolt depending on the torq/HP of your BBC.

The 10 bolt should be fine for now. The motor has all stock internals. Once I get use to the car I'll make some upgrades.

Oh man, that takes me back.. I had a Silver '80 Z28 that I built back in my late teens and early 20's. Sold the car to buy a house, tracked it down some years later and the guy didn't want to sell it then, and still didn't want to sell it last time I checked a couple years ago. gave up hope and bought a couple different toys including my '82 K30 since then, it's like the one that got away.. Lol Said i'd probably build another one some day. It was a super fun, badass little car! Looks like i'll relive part of my youth through you and this thread..

Nice build!

You just got the thing you say? You've already done more than I've done in a couple years!
