1980 k10 rebuild

Hello i would like to ask for some help.. Im rebuilding a 80 k10, the core support has what looks like tire sidewalls under it.. When I put regular mounts under it I have to push it towards the cab for the holes to line up..and then the fenders are to far back... is it possible that the cab slid forward?? The support is proper for the age, but the cab was a 2wd cab (way it was when I got the truck...

Be patient someone here can help, I’m not experienced enough to help you. But you could have a core support out of a different year truck, or cab from another year. Snap a few pictures and we will help you figure this out

Dont take this for anything because im just sayin what stands out, even irrelevant. Why does one side have a big red block with a huge washer and bolt as the other side doesnt? That center grille support looks way far back at the bottom. I see more but im gunna let more educated rebuilders chime in on it.
