Got charged one hour @$85 to get my truck out of that shop.
It didnt even have power steering fluid in it!
It had about 2.5 quarts of motor oil though and...it needed seven quarts of transmission fluid @ $8 each.
    (Dextron 6)
Im gonna drive her home tomorrow probably a mile and a half.
I worked on it a long time today and left it "ready to go".

I have no idea what to do with that truck!
Why is this a thing?

Use it as a cool-weather truck to round up the asshole bad guys. You can stack a lot of 'em in an 8 foot bed.

Guess I didnt pay enough to have that done either..

It's funny what people look at. Gary asked about the other turn signal then wanted to know about the bumper.
You look at the air pressure.
    What else do y'all see?

I bet the sway bar was gonna be a huge deal and that was right. It took a lot of effort to get all of that prior collision damage repaired but boy does it drive fantastic! ?
    Very nice!
The brakes seemed very okay but I didnt use em much too much because I mostly wanted to make it all the way home.

I've got a 1980 one ton? Accessory / bracket set I think here with AC compressor and associated everything else minus hoses.
Need a new evaporator  been lookin at hoses.
Bonnie's AC seemed easy and cheap to fix? I want to fix it?
Another 3 or 4 grand to finish her?
You think that much? A $10,000 C20? She looks like she could pull it off. IF she had AC.

I mighta found a floorpan guy already though - the OTHER Camaro mechanic.

I think the passenger axle is leaking now.o_Oo_O

The transmission leaks quite a bit too it seems.

We'll have a look some time except I dont have to get up tomorrow. First time in eleven days or something - I can sleep late.

Ya know I was leaving Agent Tony's before realizing I didnt roll the windows down...i'm not convinced that is a positive haha?:p
Maybe the concrete underfoot was helping.
Lucky I thought to wash the windows though yesterday. :33:

    Sleepin late! Yeah!
Im anxious to play with my truck but need a day off after 5x12s last week. :)

    I got a compressor like this : an A6.

    s-l400 (1).jpg

The manifold and hoses are cheap, like 75 bucks cheap.

Thats pretty good for a truck.

It's all ONE COLOR ....a good one too.

    they sell new bumpers...

Wtf u talkin about turn signals? That's a twenty dollar fix.. /smh

    The. gauges. work. Mmmkay?

I bought the damned tag today.
    $279 U.S.

I even aired up the tires. ;) didn't drive it anywhere tho..fiddin to drop tank. :fish_h4h:

I see only the outside one inch of the inside rear rotor is catching pad...and I think the passenger side axle leaks now.

One step at a time, one step at a time. You got Bonnie so Babe can get done slowly, and correctly.

Plus side is that you push the AC $'s back ...

Yesterday I acknowledged FIVE YEARS has passed since I quit smoking.

Allow me to post some screen grabs of the Smoke Free app I have grown to love.
All monies reflect today's pricing of $8.95 a pack for 20 Marlboros in today's Oklahoma.

I stopped before I had to pay 5 bucks a pack.. That was for sure gonna be the hard stop!

I was buying 2 packs daily of Carnival Menthol for $7.00 USD when I finally give it up using Chantix.
I had already quit smoking Marlboro because IT WAS 5 bucks a pack..Carnival was $3.50.

Went to the Doctor to get a physical for a prescription and he had a two week free sample. Wrote the prescription anyway but I never filled it. I was all done ten days later after TWENTY FIVE YEARS as a smoker.

I stopped in TEN . DAYS .(after I wanted to)
    That. stuff. works.

The health improvement results frickin saddening no? Time spent not smoking is calculated at five minutes per cigarette.
I think I'd rather die than start smoking again...that is NOT in my cards but if I told you I don't ever think about it...? I'd be lying.

    :bleh:

Still catch myself looking in ashtrays for good snipes..it's ridiculous.:33:
Cigarettes not smoked? That's a real number. Just like $32,000.

Here's a great app. I don't use the cravings feature anymore. On an old phone maybe

It happened in this very thread...thank you for your support.

Congrats @Rusty Nail My parents quit back in the 90s. Pop went cold turkey, mom used welbutrin. When they got married, I was 19, mom moved in and there was a spider plant. With both of them smoking the plant nearly died but then came back. About ten years later when they quit smoking, the same spider plant nearly died again because of the fresh air. They still have the plant and are still smoke-free. That is awesome how much money you've saved and time gained as well as the health benefits.
