    Lmao!
Stim check gets to buy the K5 ANOTHER transmission..:(

It's a pretty good idea really. Re-reading the thread? I dont want to stray from the test bed ideas and I AM concerned with traction.
I see the next $+1000 already.

Needs a lunchbox locker and a red button for sure..and a turbo 400. Stay tuned.

It'll be fun, we'll all like watching and hopefully we can all learn something.

    PLUS !

    It'll make great video... ;)

Hangin at the shop today, talking about what transmission Brother Bryan wants to put in the K5..

Even said "hi" to @Babe the Blue Ox !

We were in the alignment shop chillin and walked past the C20.
    I glanced over.

    HOLY CRAP !

    Looks really , really, awesome.
    Super Duper bad ass.
Dude. You have the new elbows to lay them new heater hoses down,..remember?
    "I do?"

Haha yep. They are even ALUMINUM.

"...i'll have to drain the radiator."

    o_O .....O.k. .... :005:

    Don't forget k?. ;)

Dig the 84-86 MAGNESIUM valve covers.
    Lookin FRESH today!

More brake bleeding is necessary he says, still aint put the shocks on...I mentioned a test drive...(hope it works okay without a different prop valve,) I have done enough research (to get as close as I could) and he stopped at the seat tracks.

'Promise they are not a big deal, give me a shout and i'll come help.'
    It'll bolt together, watch.

I repeat that to add gravity.

Stim checks have got her pushed back off the burner even though he said Rick bitches about her being in there every day, he's the only mechanic and I know he's puttin off workin on it so it can stay in there..she really does make him money by only hangin out and lookin good, Rick just likes to bitch.

Sneakin up on two years in there?

But damnit man, that looks freaking awesome.

    I love it! :baby:

After the paint got good and dry, the booster looks FANTASTIC IRL, these picks dont do it any justice. The color has for sure matured and settled down. VERY.pleased with it.

AND I keep forgetting to buy the bed trim clippys, that shit's all over now though - I just remembered again. Want pixs of the OTHER SIDE TOO yes?

    :33:

    20200417_105550.jpg

Boy i'm building a bad.ass.20...she's all looong and sexy AF!! :p
I wouldnt build a short 2wheel. Long bed is where it's at! :imo:

Think I should install an 86-89 Corvette steering wheel? I think I want to..pretty sure I will. Thanks anyway- @Paladin
    proxy-image.jpeg

I really like that style wheel....
It'll fit in fine with buckets and a black dash cap.

Dude is really firm on them black door panels tho...I want to buy them so bad...i'm not gonna pay his asking price because HES TOO DAMNED HIGH  Screw that guy. :flipthebird: tight mother fvvker grr!
I intend to create a different ebay account later so I can offer again. :shrug:that was ONLY ONE of the brilliant ideas I had today while I was there.

We didn't discuss timeframe at all only that he had regained control of her staying dry, which is of great concern to me.

Still needs red plug wires and different holders - which I dont own - put on too so it is gonna look EVEN MORE badass later. :waytogo:

The bumpers will look perfect too I think, way later.. at this rate? Will be a long time.

I gather the previously conveyed sense of urgency has passed.
I know i'm over it lol. :) i really dont mind it bein there at all. I'm not even dumpin money in it anymore!

Here she is, gettin towed to the shop
July 13, 2018 with the 2009 tag sticker I bought.

    IMG_20180715_140718.jpg

Finally bought them damned bed clippys.
30 of em! AND a one pinché parking light screw i'm very happy I didn't forget.
Found THE ONE i knew I had just the other day AND THEN taped it to the fridge so i'd know right where it is. I would have bought all FOUR BUT! LMC charges TWO DOLLARS A PIECE so I told em to blow me.

    See there? A. TWENTY.:headbang:

    Well,
I went to the shop last week. Brian said Babe was getting the boot and I said ok.
Workin up a deal with Gary Camaro, I went and fetched all the stuff in the bed and installed a Camaro Dealer Tag...to drive it home?
Empty the Blue Ox and she's on jackstands...I hope shop owner Rick is forcing dude's hand. We are all gonna find out together.
I'm the only guy working on taking the truck home it seems, still on jack stands one week later.

Lookit this 68? in Babe's spot at the Camaro salvage yard..it has an LS1 in it now..I started working there on my days off sometimes.
    Stoking the embers.
    :Wedgie:
Prolly sell him the SS too, we're at $2500 goin to 2750.
I told him I'd give him the truck , we can trade for Camaro mechanic labor. :rape:
I got these Corvette heads remember?
Prolly $2k in parts and work sitting there.

    Anyways.

I went to the Tag Agency to buy the sticker.

    08/2018.

    $279.:Sumo::thumbsdown::yourself:

Wow! That's a good one. :naughty:

I'm very anxious to see only the matching 88s remain I guess. Seems like the right thing to do.
Screw starting over, I'm trimming fat.
    Culling the herd.

Now is the time to sell, haven't you seen the news?
