Got the knuckles hung on the Dana 60 since I had some time this morning. Heres a shot of the engine crossmember I did..not really happy with it so I'll probably remake it but it's holding for now

Are those the stock 2wd engine mount brackets, or are they from a K truck? I think one style is shorter, but I don't remember which.

They are the factory 2wd upper mount and the 2wd engine mounts from Precision Fab Plus

Got the axles ground down to put the full circle snap rings on the new Spicer u joints. Next to install spindles, big brake caliper brackets, and hubs

Got the tracking and I'll have the front leaf springs Thursday which means this thing is getting the dana 60 shoved in Saturday and she'll be a roller! Got the spindles together and big brake calipers on. Started putting the front hubs together, still need to grind them down to clearance these HUGE brakes going on, then stab these, the Warn hubs, and we have an axle haha 20180910_194217.jpg 20180910_191243.jpg

Well, got the hubs back from the machine shop. Had to have the outside turned down a little for the big brake upgrade with brackets from Torq. Will be using front brakes off a 2011+ ram 3500 which are MUCH larger that what would have come on this thing. All new hardware throughout, all new bearings, seals, etc and finally put the new Warn hubs on tonight. This baby is ready to go home!

Where's the best place to buy that brake kit from?

Was there a reason for having the hubs turned instead of just opening up the rotors?

Loving this build. Always nice to see how the "other half" builds stuff.

Here's a link to the brake kit. You can either buy just the brackets or buy the whole brake upgrade. Reason I did the hubs not brakes is that if I was to do the brake hat, it would be much more material to remove vs. just shaving the lip on the hub down a bit and when I need rotors again, I won't need to have them remachined; just remove the old and install the new

Thanks! Still a ways to go but it's nice to see it starting to take shape. What's this "other half"? haha

As promised...shes on her own wheels! Dana 60 tucked nicely under there. Got a wrong pair of bushings so its snug but loose still but it's all under there, officially a 4wd now and a roller again! 20180915_143822.jpg 20180915_165221.jpg 20180915_165224.jpg 20180915_181105.jpg 20180915_181114.jpg

Looking more and more like a truck. Got the new bed and tailgate on, rolled it out of its hole for a little since it's a roller finally 20180916_172028.jpg 20180916_172022.jpg 20180916_172039.jpg 20180916_164011.jpg
