This is my other project. A 1964 Ranchero. Got the car when I was 16 from a family friend. Was pretty much original when I got it other than the reman 302 and C4 that was in it. Drove it like that for a while them decided it needed a full suspension rebuild along with steering and brakes. Got it back on the road and enjoyed it for a year or two before I decided it needed a new motor and transmission combo. Already had an early mustang Toploader sitting in the shed so I picked up a late model roller 302 and had a shop in Phoenix rebuild it with a set of Craigslist AFR heads and a big cam. Anyways, here it is.

Pretty cool car. Are the topper and tonneau cover original Ford accessory items, or aftermarket?

they are aftermarket. They are from a 60-70s era fiberglass company based out of SoCal.
Stockland? I have a Stockland I use on my '81 and '65. It's made for the '81, and barely sits on the bedrails of the '65. Need big-ol' clamps for the '65 to reach the metal, the '81 I can use small clamps.

When I was 18 years old my buddy's dad gave him a 1964 White Ranchero for his first vehicle.
While the body was straight and clean, the engine smoked and swallowed oil in gulps. Most of the gaskets leaked, the radiator leaked, the master cylinder leaked, the transmission leaked, the power steering pump and lines leaked and the rear axle seals soaked the brake shoes about once a month. We took that truck fishing every weekend and he loved it.
His dad gave him a year to fix it up and after a while grew tired of it puking fluids on the driveway so he sold it to the scrapyard for $100.
I'm not a Ford guy, but that was a heck of a piece of history.
