1964 gmc 2 ton truck

ok I am giving up on a few random projects don't worry none are my squares.

I have decided this gmc is not what I really want as a hauler I found a crew cab square ramp truck that I want. I need to sell a few things to get it.

this 64 gmc 2 ton has a 305 v6 industrial motor sm420 4 speed and a 2 speed rear axle.

I rebuilt the carb put a new fuel pump and a master cylinder on it. had it running and drove it to the car wash to wash the engine off. I got the distributor wet and the starter quit working while I was trying to start it.

and while I was towing it home the rear brake wheel cylinder blew out.

so it needs a starter and a wheel cylinder to be a running driving truck.

it has less than 50,000 miles on it the truck is in fairly good condition so I think the odemeter is correct. the suspension is not worn out like trucks with 150,000 miles on them. it has very little rust all I have found is a spot in the door the size of a nickel.

it would be hard to find a truck like this in this condition it really is an awesome truck just not what I want.

I need to get 1,500 out of it

it would be really hard to find one in this condition

it is not a clapped out worn out beat to **** work truck

it had a grain dump bed on it before I got it and it has very low miles for a 51 year old truck. they did not use it much

normally a truck like this the suspension is worn out. this one shows very little wear I looked at another thread I have on it and it said 39,000 miles on the odometer I thought it was 49,000 I believe it to be correct

there is so many cool thing that could be done with this truck. but I really don't have time for it and I really am not into it enough to make time for it.

I wish I could find a half ton short bed in this condition but that's impossable

if it does not sell I have a long bed and a set of step side fenders I may make a dually long bed and shorten the chassis to make it a pickup. kinda like the on in this picture.

I will include the bed and fenders for members of this site if they buy the truck.
