Putting new calipers, hoses, and pads on my 85. Got the passenger side on this afternoon and must say that hose was a b*t#h. For anyone who hasn’t tackled this in a while, the hose is held to the frame by a 15/16th nut on the inside of the frame. Of course this is only important after you have broken loose the hard line and removed which I found to be difficult because of a lot of other lines running in and around that area of the frame, but it broke loose and I could then remove it the rest of the way by hand.

The other side appears it is going to be just as much fun as the passenger side was so I elected to back away for today.

I feel you. I don’t think it would have gone well for me without PB Blaster.

Other side done, good to have working brakes again even though I seldom drive the truck. More work to come.
