Width of a Gm 12 bolt 1973-1987
Many of these old squares ( 1/2 ton) had the 12 bolt rear end. I am looking to upgrade my daily driver rear end and want to keep it a 5 lug. Anyone know the width of these 12 bolt from Wheel mating surface to wheel mating surface?- Camo

Diesel in the square body?
Done the CTD thing before, Other then the 6.5 and the 6.2 that were both less than stellar motors what other diesels have you come up with for your square body? i am researching the 7.3 IDI motor, Add a turbo and they really wake up. Anyhow what other diesels have you swapped in the squares?- Camo
