    Drive shaft availability?

    I need a drive shaft for my 1977 C10 short bed 2WD with a TH350 6" tail shaft. Center to center on the U-Joint caps is 59 3/8" My question is, what can I find this shaft in? Cars, Trucks, Burbs??? And what years? This is just a temp fix to get the truck running until I can get the 700R4 built...

    TV cable on a Q-Jet?

    Putting a '93 700R4 (4L60) in my '77 C10. I know there's special brackets for the TV cables on an Eddi and a Holly, but what about a Q-Jet? Is there a special bracket or do I plug the cable in where the kick-down cable was?

    TH350 years?

    Looks like I need to go junkyard shopping. Blew the transmission in my 77 C10. Can someone tell me what the LATEST year I can find a Chevy TH350 in? One place told me 1979. I think he was full of crap, but I don't know for sure.

Like how to adjust the power piston for the primary metering rods or how to know if the primary or secondary rods...

    Engine code "CAF" ???

    Just got around to looking up the engine code on my 77. PO led me to believe it was a 350, now I'm not so sure. The engine code is CAF314163 Date code is V0924TDF Any ideas?

    Warped air horn on the Q-jet

    Got final inspection this morning. Ya for me!!! Then I discovered a new problem. The air horn on the Q-jet is warped. Secondaries will open, but then they get stuck open and flood the engine. I pulled it apart. There's a good 1/8" warp in it. PO or someone who he had working on the carb didn't...
