    Mystery fastener hole on heater box

    The hole on the far right lines up with a hole in the firewall that protrudes only into the blower area. That means I can't put a nut on the back. How does the box attach? Does it use a nylon retainer like those used to secure door panels?

    OK, I've got all the screws removed and I can pull the panel out an inch or so, but then the vent door surround (for lack of a better term) gets hung up on the hole in the body panel.
