    I recently rebuilt the 454 in my 79 K-10. It is a .060” over 1973 block with a steel crank. Hyper-eutectic Speed-Pro pistons on 502 BBC rods. Compression is 9.7:1.     I installed the interior door panel kit from USA-1. In keeping with the factory look, they have done a remarkable job. I needed a custom color, and it is spot on. During covid season last year, it took 6 months to receive the kit, but worth the wait.
