New diff carrier bearings, anybody heard of Iljin?
'83 K10, have the front axle torn down in the garage. I regeared the rear last year (2.73 to 4.10), took out the front drive shaft until I could get to the front, which is now. The rebuild kit I bought a year ago has the wrong carrier bearings...too late to get the right ones from them. I...- Chepe

Rocker, kick panel, floor?
Need some advice from y'all who have done this before (which seems like an awful lot of you). '83, daily driver. Outer rockers had a few pinholes. Small holes under the plastic step trim were growing. Where the kick panel meets the floor, I knew it was rotting but didn't pull the vinyl and jute...- Chepe

New Gears Sing a Little
83 K10, 31" on stock rallies, I mostly drive around town so the 2.73s weren't doing it for me. Swapped in a Motive Gear 4.10 ring & pinion set, never done that before so it was a good learning experience.
