Voltage to the fuel pump?
Mine reads 8 volts. I think it should be 12 at the tank? My pump works but is weak. Electric fuel pump. Pressure is 5lbs. Could this be from low voltage? What do I replace? Thanks.- Nightrider24 7

How to test voltage to fuel pump?
Hi. I have an 87 that has an electric fuel pump. Single tank. I have low fuel pressure. 5psi at the tank when I turn the key on. I have tried to test voltage but not sure if Im doing it right. Probe in the wires coming to the pump read 8 volts when I turn the key on. Should it be 12 at least...- Nightrider24 7
