I'm pulling my 454 and replacing it with a freshly built 468. Trans is a SM465. Truck is a 86 C20. Last time I pulled this engine I couldn't get the engine high enough to clear the mounts without the trans hitting the transmission tunnel. I couldn't separate the engine from the tranny. Who makes the best dash pad?
Title says it all. I want a new dash pad. I want the best available. Who sells it? -
Tight engine. Loosing my mind troubleshooting.
Engine was stock 454. 50k miles on it. Changed cam, heads, intake, gaskets and seals. Pulled rear bearing cap to change rear main seal. Bearing looked perfect. Reinstalled and torqued cap per factory service manual. Bottom end is fairly tight without valve train, takes about 40 ft lbs to...- Wumbo
