Anyone making a reliable oil pump anymore?
Im gearing up for a manual trans swap and while I've got it apart I'm going to do the rear main seal. While I'm in there i feel like i might as well replace the oil pump(cheap insurance). G10 high idle. Fixed. Camping pics
Had to drop the fuel tank on my 78 g10 to replace some rat chewed lines. Ran fine before they ate the fuel feed. New lines at the tank, new metal line from pump to carb(quadrajet) and new fuel filter. Got it back running but now its idling way high. Only things i can think of is vacuum leak...- K201979

Thinking real seriously about pulling the trigger on this one. Been wanting a g10/20 and could use an extra set of wheels beeing that i daily my 79k20 and my wifes daily(84cj7) has been needing an engine for about a year. Whats everybody think? Tie rod upgrade?
I'm about to replace the tie rod ends on my 79 k20 and i was wondering if anyone with an 80 and older truck has gone to 81-up tie rod setup? Ends would be cheaper in the long run but i dont know if the knuckles where the tie rod bolts are the same. Anyone know? I know id have to buy the 81- up...- K201979

Brake caliper rebuild?
Has anyone here rebuilt their brake calipers? Im having trouble figureing out for sure which pistons and seals. Its a 79 k20 silverado that came with sb400/th400.
