    86 Parking brake Release Rod

Somehow my dog managed to brake the parking brake release handle on my 86 K20 while I was in the Beer store. I thought no big deal, since I could get a new one to screw on for pretty cheap. Then I noticed that this year model has the handle built onto the rod, no threads. Can't find a release...

    Dipstick

When I bought my 86 K20 with a 350, it had a factory dipstick tube, but a chrome 19" dipstick that was too short. 5 quarts only showed 1/2" from the tip (1 1/2" below the Full line) with a stock pan. I'd been looking for a longer one for a while, but never found one. But, when checking the oil...

    Borg & Beck clutch

I was having trouble with a Super T10 in my Chevelle. It worked fine until I drove it for 30 minutes or so. Then it would get hard to get into the next gear, and grind going in reverse. Block Flush

I got a new 4 row radiator for my 69 Chevelle SS396. It hasn't ran in several years, and I was thinkin about firein it up with the old radiator, and flushing the system first. It barely leaks. Reckon it would hurt anything to run some vinegar and water mix through it for a few minutes, to help...

    Gauge/Idle circuit

Other than the gauges, can someone tell me what else is on the Gauge/Idle circuit on an 86 GVWR 8600, standard transmission. I don't know what the Idle part means. I haven't had this truck for that long, but have been driving it regularly for a couple of months, since a kid wrecked into my daily...

    New Member

Hello New Member here, from the Texas Panhandle. Couldn't tell you how many Chevy/GMC trucks I've had over the years. Just picked up an 86 Scottsdale 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive with an SM465 tranny, as a spare truck.
