I have an 83 1/2 ton silverado short bed frame with a 78 El Camino body sitting on it. The previous owner had used a fuel cell in the bed. Hydro-boost not working
82 K30 long bed. Sometimes my steering works just fine, and sometimes I cant hardly turn the steering wheel, seems like I get no assist from the hydro-boost. It's full, belt is good and not slipping. Any ideas would be helpful, thanks in advance. -

anybody done a flush mount back glass
Dawn dish soap and a heavy duty plastic spoon. Have a buddy apply LIGHT pressure to the glass as you work the gasket, use this method for installation and removal as well. Go real easy and gentle, take your time.- Martimus

Window on 91 suburban off track
The track is adjustable. Take the door panel off and you'll see what I mean. Sometimes the little spot weld comes apart there too, just put another spot on it.- Martimus

76 k5 suspension and brake upgrade
Make sure your front and rear bumpers are good and tight. Frame twist makes it feel spongy. Replace your leaf spring and body bushings with poly ones. Check the steering box and collar for any play. Ball joints, tie rods, etc... Wheel bearings...- Martimus

Looks to be a great site, lots of good build threads and stuff.. I have a 91 4wd burb but the tub is pretty well shot.
