    SOLD: Selling my project C20

I have it out of the donor car at the moment. I did the timing chain, tensioners, serpentine belt, etc. This are also known for the "crack pipe" which i replaced. Along with the clutch and a few other things. I'm thinking it'll be a great drive once the swap is done.

    SOLD: Selling my project C20

I posted it on CL locally. It's a mk4 2.0 5 speed but I'm going to convert it to the vr6 6 speed here when I have some time. It's going into storage for now, but when I get it back out... that's happening.

It is what it is. I'm looking forward to the next chapter, just bummed I can't take this with me. Ultimately it's my own fault for not planning better.

    SOLD: Selling my project C20

The website is giving me a hard time with photos, I suspect my camera's resolution is too high. I'm happy to text photos if you reach out. Thanks! Spencer

    SOLD: Selling my project C20

Unfortunate life BS is getting in my way and I'm being forced to get rid of my project truck. It's a 1981 C20 crew cab that started life with a 350. I've done a 4x4 conversion using the axles and transfer case from a 1977 K20 truck. The NP205 was converted to fit the ZF transmission and...

Misc parts from my 4x4 swap project

Cleaning shop a bit. Have a few bits and bobs I no longer need. Prices are obo. I will ship but buyer pays shipping. Cash if in person, i'll do Paypal for shipped parts. Input shaft for NP205. Can't remember the spline count but it was connected to a TH350 (27, i think?) 100$ 350 motor mounts...

    What are these?

I was leaning toward manual locker cables but they do seem a bit small. Possibly exhaust cutouts as mentioned. Not sure why the red light if it's for exhaust cutout... I would think one would know.

    Fuel system help

I did pull the oil pressure switch and it does stay running. Pump does come on with ignition regularly now. I recall replacing the ignition control module about 18 months ago. I'm going to see if I can get a warranty replacement on it.

    Fuel system help

P1351 looking like a faulty ignition control module. I think it may be a left over code as I replaced it but didn't clear codes.

    Fuel system help

Did some testing and was about to pull my hair out. I have 12.6v constant on 87 Jump between 87 and 30 will run the pump (confirmed pump noise) 12.6v between 85 and 86 for about 3 seconds with key on (no start) Tested the relay out of the car, clicks just fine.... It was the freaking pins in...

    Fuel system help

I do have a check engine light but I've forgotten what it was for. I'll get the DMM out and try some of these. Van is 1996. I'll see if I can find a test port. I did drop the tank thinking the pump was bad. While I was down there I found the harness was damaged but the pump was ok. So I...

    Fuel system help

This is a tech question but it's for a GMT 600 so doesn't quite fit the squarebody... but there aren't any good GMC Savana forums. Plus, you guys are a lot nicer than most of the other forums. So this is a 1996 and it has the L31 5.7 with the multiport injection. The issue I'm having is the...

    Led headlight mod

If you still have the sealed beam bulb in the truck you'll need to do a H4 swap before you can use you the plug-n-play LEDs. I would not recommend this route because the reflectors/LEDs aren't really made for each other and you'll just end up throwing light everywhere and blinding oncoming...

    Electrical issue with my lights.

There's a connection at the rear bumper for all the tail lights. Have you checked to make sure it's snug? I suspect it is because the parking lights work, but it could be partially disconnected. There's also a ground behind the driver side tail light assembly. Again, you have parking so I'm...

    Selling my 1961 CJ5

I know it's not a chevy, but since this forum appreciates older vehicles I thought I'd put the word out anyway. Life BS is forcing me to sell a few of my projects. Price is negotiable. Can deliver/meet with 75 miles of 92061. Also have space to load a transport truck, to be coordinated by...

Hate it or Love it, it's sweet

I don't know why but it reminds me of a truck I saw in Monterey. Someone took a GMT400 cab and cut off the rear chassis. Took a car hauler trailer and welded it to the cab's remaining chassis. Converted it to front wheel drive. Had a custom "ramp" truck minus the beaver tail.

    Blown head gasket ?

Since you mentioned bubbling, they make a test probe that looks for exhaust gases in the coolant. Before you drain the coolant maybe try the probe. If you have a head gasket leak the gasses will show up in the coolant. https://www.harborfreight.com/combustion-leak-detector-64814.html

    Instrument Cluster connector

Heck yes! That's brilliant. I'm always amazed with the things people can do with a 3D printer.

    Instrument Cluster connector

Probably not a solution to my question, but I'll ask regardless. The connector from the chassis harness into the cluster makes contact with a flimsy PCB as you all know. I'm thinking I'd like to add some real gauges (i have the cluster with just lights) and instead of hack up my harness I'd like...

Front driveline angles on a lifted square

I can't recall the angles off the top of my head, i battled this battle about 2 years ago. In mine it was about 15-20 mph under acceleration. Samurai's have divorced transfer cases. The thing would dance around like no body's business. It was really aggravating too. I live about 20 minutes...
