Got this off of an internet search so........ maybe accurate maybe not. Key Provisions of the Proposed Exemption Gradual Rollout: The bill creates a phased-in exemption starting with vehicles manufactured before the 1981 model year. Expanding Cutoff: It would add an additional model year each...

    Help, Vacuum Lines

Yes, I passed smog a few years ago by going to an old timer that knew the emissions required but need the sticker if I try it again.

Thanks Turbo, that's the closest diagram to an 83 C30 454 I've been able to find so far, might work for me in Ca.

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the lights replaced in the dash with LED's, looks good at night! Washed years of dirt and bee chit off from being stored in a field. added clean gas, started and drove. Ready for Ramona Cruise Night but will probably try to buff out and polish. Made an offer on a place with a garage and...

What have you done to your square lately??

Learn something new every day! After a little research, over half a million 83's were allegedly (no accurate numbers) made in Canada, if you have a vin starting in 2 it's one of them. Mine starts with 1.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finally got Smokey out of the field and parked out front of the place. Pulled the gauge cluster to replace bulbs (4 or 5 out) ordered white LEDS. Had to glue down the copper strips that were coming loose. Might as well lube the Speedo cable while it's disconnected right?? Here hold my beer...

What have you done to your square lately??

Removed all the chrome wheel covers, PIA on gravel and cement driveway. This old back don't move as well as it used to. I had to remove the back ones to get to the extensions so might as well clean all of them up. The wheels didn't have the clip steadier installed for the extension, just the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got permission from the landlord to bring Smokey over for some maintenance after 2.5 years in a field. Me and my darlin' went and got it today. Nothing major but want to change some tire valve extensions, fix a few rat chewed wires and polish it up a bit.

What have you done to your square lately??

I've found that oil spray coming out the back discourages tailgating. I had a 64 triumph MC that leaked like a sieve.

Clear coating over patina: anybody done it?

Bought a 50 ford for $75 back in the early 60's. ran ok but rear end howled a bit. I dropped the drive shaft to check and found out they had packed the damn thing with raw hamburger. stunk so bad I threw up.

What have you done to your square lately??

Smokey's been sitting in a field for over a year now, we go start it up regularly and a couple of weeks ago the manager of the park we live in said I could bring it over to clean/wax and do some minor maintenance. As soon as I got it here the radiator started leaking. I took it back to the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Thanks for the input but if that's the case, I don't know why they just didn't jump directly off the fuse box, why go through the trailer brake? It's also a blue wire so if they tried to be consistent with diagrams, that would be the brake. Of course PO's don't always follow diagrams or...

What have you done to your square lately??

Went over to where the truck was stored today to do a little puttering and start it and warm it up. I wanted to figure out what the switch at the bottom of the dash went to since it didn't seem to do anything when switched on. It went from the trailer brake, to the switch then all the way down...

    Importance of charcoal (Evap) canister

Lots of info on the net for rebuilding the existing one. I was going to try to do that but just decided to dry mine out and reinstalled it instead. It passed smog and no particles coming out of it so far. Like Harry said,, are ya feeling lucky???
