I hope everyone is having a great holiday month, I am looking to purchase good fitment/quality vent windows for my truck. Id like a "complete" bolt in style that already has the gasket and handle ready to go and does not need assembly. I also need a good quality set of mirrors. With so much on...

    Tank Selector switch Installation

Good morning, I removed my old switch and the ac duct to replace my tank selector switch. When reinstalling i am having a hard time with this. Do you assemble the switch and harness then shove it from the front of the dash into the mounting hole as one piece? Or do you try to put the face of...

Dual Tank Switch Causing HP Fuel Pump to Shutoff?

For some reason I don't believe my switch is working. Yesterday when swapping over to the DS tank, my truck immediately died, no sputtering, no delay, it just instantly died. Cranked and cranked and nothing happened. When I switched to the PS with the key on, the fuel gauge pegged to 3 O'clock ...

    180* Upside down Steering Wheel

thank you how would I know the tie rods were moved around if there is a way to visually see that? My friend said the column could have been 180ed by a few U Joints Deep in the column as well?

    180* Upside down Steering Wheel

Is it possible that the steering box is centered correctly and something in the column is off? I took it for a drive and other than the wheel upside down it seemed to turn fine. I wonder if something got messed up in the aftermarket wheel install. Also am i correct in saying that from the...

    180* Upside down Steering Wheel

Good evening. I have an 87 that had an aftermarket steering wheel on it. When i took the old wheel off, the horn spring was not in its expected location. It was at about the 4oclock position instead of the 10-12. I was wondering why this was so out of allignment. I put the new oem style wheel on...

    87 Smog Delete

Marine thank you for the reply. Im a little confused. On the first photo where there are two lines into one, one of them goes to the smog, and the other one goes to that valve cover connector shown in the second. The first photo the hose on the right goes to the valve cover directly. Im worrying...

    87 Smog Delete

Hey guys. I did a search on smog pump removal. My pulley is damaged and theres no belt going to it so I figured id remove it and save it. I heard that the two wire harness can be disconnected and tucked back into the main loom and wont cause running issues. My question is how do i cap off the...

    TV Adjustment

I noticed while driving the heat was very minimal so its probably an engine issue and not a gauge problem. The engine runs “fine” so I dont think its the efi sensor. If i can see the engine gets up to temp then ill chase the driver side gauge sensor and or gauge / wire. What should the temps be...

    TV Adjustment

Yah seems to run fine. Doesnt smoke or smell excessive fuel. I think testing the temps of hoses will point me in the right direction. Can rule out thermostat, if i know its not the thermostat and it is up to temp, ill look for something with the gauge sensor.
