I cant get my new engine to run smooth. Seems untunable.
I had a similar issue with my 350 after I rebuilt it hard to start and idling too high approximately 1300rpm. I had to get electricity to the electric choke and that helped with starting. Early 73'-80' engine hood reinforcements
Hood that came with my project is bent across the middle so I fabricated a couple brackets to keep my donor hood sturdy. Used existing holes for 5/16-18 bolts and 1/2" pipe across for extra stability. Anyone did modification to their hoods for reinforcements? Or is this overkill?- Cyrillious

Apparently it doesn't have to be a mechanic that does the appraisal. After I went online and looked for appraisers and found one not too far and they gave me an appraisal over the phone and email with documentation forwarded to them.
