8x165.1 rims on 8x6.5?
They are aftermarket wheels that came off a 1997 Ford F250. I know when Ford made the Super Duty they changed the lug pattern so I think I’m safe. Just wanted to make sure- Truck82

8x165.1 rims on 8x6.5?
Looking at buying some rims and tires off Offerup and the bolt pattern is in 8x165.1. Will these fit on my 8x6.5 lug pattern? Thanks in advance- Truck82

Finally got my exhaust finished. 24 inch dual glass packs with side exit before the rear wheels. I’m loving it! -

That’s great to hear they’re good tires. The only thing holding me back is the price. Do you know of any other tire made in 16.5 that’s more affordable? And I don’t mean the real old style ones from the 40s - 60s style. I’m looking for a more modern look like the vortrac. Thanks- Truck82

8 lug slots...?
Were they worth the money? I’ve got a set of 16.5 5 slots and was thinking about buying those tires. Where did you get them? I also really like the turbine wheels!- Truck82

Really tight front brakes!
My grandpa had a similar problem when he clamped the hose down with vise grips. The flap inside the hose wouldn’t let fluid get to the caliper and the car would pull to one side like crazy. Lesson learned there -

Need help identifying 12v wire for electric choke
Hey everyone! I am installing an electric choke on my carb and know very little about electrical. The manual that came with the choke says to connect the wire from choke to the yellow/black wire going to the wiper motor. As seen in the picture, there is a yellow and a black wire. Really tight front brakes!
The front brakes don’t get hot at all. The passenger side wheel spins fine but the driver side has resistance. There is also a on/off rubbing noise coming from the driver side when driving. Now that I have replaced the wheels bearings, I think I can rule that one out. Possible it’s a warped rotor? -

I took about a 15 minute drive with a few normal stops and maybe 4-5 hard stops. got out and felt the brakes with my hands. (Couldn't find my temp gun. I never can find stuff when I need it) The front discs were warm... that's it. Not heat warm, just not cold. The rear drums? HOT, HOT, HOT! I... -
