Windshield gasket with groove for trim?
@Craig 85 yup it's the same. I got this one for 13 bucks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002CXOQC6/ It took about 10 minutes to change it. Most of the time was cleaning the groove out. I got another Amazon review for yall. I've always used these cheap ass plug wires on ls's and never had any problems. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076G82DX3/ I couldn't use them with these headers because they were touching the headers. I got this set on there now...- louu

I'm hoping to stop by the hose place in a couple of weeks to and have the air conditioner hoses made up. I also had to replace the hydroboost for the brakes yesterday. What a pain that was. The old one was leaking. Hopefully there won't be anymore leaks in the is truck for a few years lol!- louu

That's amazing thank you so much! I got the trans all back in and buttoned up. I got new headers that fit pretty good so I have to do a little welding to finish up the exhaust. I'll have pictures soon.- louu

Oh yeah, I thought it was something in the AC lines or something I didn't know about. Yeah I had to snap off a little nipple on the 6.0 intake and put the vacuum hose on there. I was able to use the stock brackets, just bought the oem ls style compressor. Yeah I have 2 spal fans being run by the pcm, I think they are set around 200 and 205. What are dampeners and where does the check valve go? The truck has all the original 1986 air conditioner stuff in there except...- louu

Man it hasn't been going good. I got it done and running about the end of May. It took a while to get it tuned because I used universal patcher to delete vats and rear o2's but if you ever use that program it locks up your pcm so no one can use hp tuners to do anything. I had to get another pcm...- louu

I just sat the intake and ugly cover on there to make sure I had Hood Clarence. I think I might paint the cover the blue like the truck to continue the black and blue under the hood- louu

I was also able to fit the stock AC compressor. One thing I'm having trouble figuring out is what suction and discharge hoses I need. I called some places around here to see if anybody can make me some but they don't think they can. Does anybody have any info on what I need to do? Or where to...- louu

I think it's a good progress hoping to have it running in a couple of days. I made my own engine mounts so I was able to use the stock drive shaft I just had to get a conversion joint. Here is the part number to go from the 2005 2500 to the 1986 C 3500- louu

The biggest this is have a positive attitude. It's going to be a ton of fun. Take your time, enjoy every minute of it and don't stress about anything. If you get that one it will run you 86 bucks and change and then there will be another charge for two bucks and change because the company is based out of...- louu

2 wiper motor pump symptoms….what would you do?
It's going to be hard for me to explain for some reason because my brain is going to be functioning very well right now. The little metal post that goes on the column has splines on it that the plastic housing that has the wiper controls on it splines on to. Well that plastic pice crackes inside...- louu
