What have you done to your square lately??
Adjusted the idle rpm so the alternator would charge properly with a/c on, fixed shift indicator with some silicone spray, fixed stuck closed dash vent and torn cloth duct, and finally replaced fender trim. The trim was a pain and I hope to never do it again. Oh and took her for a maiden voyage... -

Where did you order your carpet from?
Rock auto is cheapest go with Essex and mass backing. It's a better quality carpet compared to the loop -
Oil burnin 5.3
You probably have leaking intake gaskets as they are know for failing on the earlier engines. They changed the color on the replacements so easier to ID. It's not a hard job to do and I recommend doing the knock sensors/valley gasket at the same time.(might all be in the kit I believe) Mine...- Magna86

Though I maybe interested in just buying new complete vents by the time I buy a used core and parts to rebuild it. The long straight frame is the part rusted out near the glass.- Magna86

Alright guys it seems both of my vent window frames are rusted out so I have to get a set of cores to rebuild and swap. What's the average price for a set of complete vent windows to rebuild? Easier would probably be to get a new muffler and rebuild it as it was..If you need to replace more rusted pipe before the muffler then you can look into a "Y" pipe and a single or double outlet muffler. I've done nothing other than pickup some Dumbo mirrors for it. Still waiting on my shop to go up. But I got bored and brought a friend home from storage that I can work on without a building or parts from storage. :-) -

How to soften 1983 k5 blazer original vinyl seats

You need to run trans am 403 motor mount as this allows you to use the clamshell Chevy mounts. Not sure if the factory location is correct but you may need to move the mounts on crossmember forward or back to get right spot.- Magna86
