    You can send yours out to be serviced by any of the multiple radio refurb outlets. Quick google search will get results. You could have them possibly add bluetooth, RCA's and auto inputs also.

    I need to replace the U-bolts when I swap the 6 leaf springs in. What brand are you guys buying? Part#'s. I'm going to ask the spring shop this week for a price too. I tried to remove my original ones to reuse but that's not happening. I'm going to have to cut them off.

    Out with the old and in with the new electric washer fluid pump. Going to cut some new hose so it wraps better but happy they work!

    I finally found a decent deal on the 56" 1825lb rear leaf springs for my suspension rebuild! They were cheaper than Rock Auto too. I have all the pieces for the rebuild. I'll be sending my gearbox out to be rebuilt to a quick ratio.

    Go with the cheapest route first. Take it out/disassemble/clean/reassemble.

    Springs are collapsed and the leaf insulators are missing. They are original with 150k on them like the rest of the suspension steering.

    Dropped my truck off for state safety inspection and an alignment. Failed state inspection basically due to a worn suspension so no alignment was done.     New wiper arms with squirters and 18" blades. Just have to get some hose connectors so I can test the washer pump. Also finally replaced the broken turn signal switch.

    Original fuel line fitting/pump got cross threaded replacing the motor mounts. New pump and reflared line with new fitting to stop the leak.     Well I finally finished the motor mounts! That's passenger side is the worst you have to have a helper. Replaced fuel pump hose and the power steering return hose. The mounts were original and obviously shot. Now I can pull it inside to do the oil pan, rear main seal and possibly a timing chain...

    Well the 76 suffers from leaking gaskets so I started on that today. One good thing is this truck is fully rustproofed underneath :-).     You can rebuild a good core 700R4 with upgrades for less than 5k. You could even do it yourself if you wanted too.

    Sold the 74 Cheyenne Super 10 to a square body family. Now to just enjoy my 76 Silverado and plan for a vortec/700r4 upgrade
