Air in fuel system
Mechanical pumps pull (suck) the fuel. I have had that issue caused by a hose on the pull side that would suck air at its connection, yet it did not display wet with fuel.- Copymutt

What have you done to your square lately??
Getting prepped for next plow season. While repairing and painting the body I decided to remove the running boards. They were a safety hazard with snow covered boots. Still needed a step to assist the climb in. Came up w/ this. A piece of perforated plate and some angle. Right now its spring... -
Dreaded ethanol carb issue.
Been a busy summer here. Finally got a free morning to address poor performance on the K20 350. Had already done a full tune up, but still backfire and miss. Pulled the Ebrock 1406 and opened it up. Yes selection of tires for 16.5 is limited. I only mention them for someone wanting a correct restoration. Found the 4th. No damage, just swapped out yrs. ago.- Copymutt

Need advice on what to do with old bed liner and while we are at it sealing up these scratches.
Hit the bone yard years back. Found a couple drop in liners, cheap. Makes the best fish shack floor ever. Lighter than plywood, indestructible, don’twear out, dont need paint. Thats all I got.- Copymutt

Bless me father for I have skinned. I cut out the cancer and just replaced the metal, no bolt bracing. LMC has the complete inner well reasonably priced. -
Alternator and power steering belts keep coming off
Pulley diameter is not the only factor that can cause rotational mismatch. Belts must be the same contact pitch and width. That last shot under the crank, front belt looks a little canted. Ive set up accessories from scratch and fasten archery arrows to the face of the pulleys. Stand back a ways...- Copymutt

Minor milestone today
Paint on Cab and front clip completed. Mating front of bed done. Interesting factory left that area mostly primed. -

Bed support
Lots of metal work and paint prep to do on the bed. Had to remove it anyway to paint the back of the cab and front of the bed. Made these to park it at working height. Break down for storage as space is always at a premium around here. Thanks to Tractor Supply for all the free steel from their... -
Made a new tool

Radiator cap.
Issue w/ bumping pressure on many vehicles is the heater core can’t deal w/ it. Trust me you don’t want to go there. Lower is safe.- Copymutt
