    Rear wheels on k20?

I used to run dual Bud wheels on my K20 when it had a 2000# ElDorado cab over. Sold em as it liked to find the barrow ditch come winter.

Do I need an electric fuel pump!

Common for carbs that sit for extended periods. Elec. pump as a primer will fix it. Or borrow that little squeeze bulb off one of your chain saws!

    Jack ideas?

No rear bumper, I simply mate it to the class 4 hitch. Lift the whole rear & block. They’re called widow makers for a reason.

Engine cranks, but only starts after letting off key? - I'm perplexed

Haven’t looked at a wiring diagram, but what you describe is common misswire in 55-57 chevys at the ignition switch, or a bad ceramic dropping resistor mounted on the firewall. I’m guessing you have an HEI distributor. My wager is on it or its wiring.

    Edelbrock 660 electric choke

The bi-metallic spring doesn’t care if it expands from electric heat or heat soak from the engine. Which coincidentally is a perfect situation.

    Edelbrock 660 electric choke

Simply look at the choke plate before starting a warm engine. It should be fully open.

    Where to get quadrajet rebuilt?

Many years ago I dug in & learned the zen of just how Quadrajets work and their common issues. I never considered jobbing out something that you could learn & do yourself. No dealing with getting screwed. No question about what was done & good insight to any remaining issue. It’s called a man...

    Best Flowmaster

I like it, a lot depends on the length of the tail pipes. A better version would include a lumpy cam

Been running 40’s forever. To avoid drone run em straight back & tip down. They bark & growl, but don’t drone.

What have you done to your square lately??

Pulled & parked the plow off the K20. Officially called the season. Impressed w/ the way Rustoleum Massey Ferguson grey held up for the winter. Filled the temporary tank w/ 90 octane non ethanol & she seems to like it.

Got me puzzled to say the least

Pull all belts, alt, AC & try to duplicate. Shouldn’t have any heat shields that are notorious for rattle at specific rpms. Might have a partially collapsed muffler that would account for it.

    Craziest antitheft idea yet.

Story today about a beloved 57 Belair stolen in Az. They cased the owners routine, unlocked his gates & winched up on a roll back. Neighbor got the truck on camera. Nothing you can do if they are determined pros. Best is a cheap hidden phone that you or cops can locate.

I just bought a John Deere tractor!

If you hook onto anything that acts like it does not want to move, do not give it more throttle. There’s no ROP on these old guys & the front could come up over your head, but it wont stop there.

    Traction Aid for 77 K10

Somewhat downsized from tractor pull sleds, but the concept is the same. I built a roll in 400# weight sled for severe winter driving. Rolls in from my highway vehicle to my plow truck depending on which needs it. Locks in place w/ a bolt to a nut plate below the bed. An empty PU is at a huge...
