Perhaps a trailer mounted winch? Seen guys mount those Ford type solenoids in the engine bay for valve adjustment etc, but without seeing where the wiring terminates pure speculation Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

That's not a Goodyear tire is it? I had one do that 20 years ago. Tire had been on the truck for about a week or 150 miles. Haven't and will never use Goodyear again Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I've used some Walker stuff over the years with success. Make sure that the pipe is mandrel bent. By the way, how long had the previous flowmaster been on your truck? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

By the looks, appears previous attempt to install was forced as indicated by the bent cage. Probably didn't remove the hose from the t-stat housing Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What have you done to your square lately??

Yes, look at the very bottom/rear where the thrust washer is installed. This is where the rear end play is established. The front end play uses a selective thrust washer on the rear of the pump body Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What have you done to your square lately??

It appears to me that the end play may be the culprit. Inspect the case very closely Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Torque Converters

Pretty sure the flex plate is different (1 piece vs 2 piece rear main seal) Not sure what you are using the truck for. ATI makes good racing converters. Most converter companies will want camshaft specs, gear ratio, tire size, etc. Good luck

    77 K10 LS Swap

Not a lifted 4x4 guy, but in my experience, isn't the driveshaft slip yoke supposed to be at the transfer case end? Have not seen it installed with that orientation? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What have you done to your square lately??

It's a Gen I for sure. The Gen II sbc were used in cars and utilized the Opti Spark ignition that had the "distributor" mounting on front of block behind the water pump Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What have you done to your square lately??

That looks like fun! Now to not pick. I'm pretty sure that the Gen II sbc was the LT1 and LT4 used in cars in the middle 90's as a precursor to the LS series which is considered Gen III Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Make sure that your condenser fins are clear of dirt and debris as well.

    1989 r1500 burb, 5.7 AC troubles.

Vince, late to the game here, but that debris is from the compressor. With system operating (R134a system) I like to see 30 psi on the low side and 150 psi on the high side. As a rule of thumb outlet duct temperature should be 20 degrees less than ambient when vehicle is stationary. Been a while...
