Great weather for a C10 show in a nice little downtown.

Lot's of nice trucks, but some of the wheels need to be thrown in the dumpster! Wheel choices are always subjective, but some people just have HORRIBLE taste! I'm more of a purist & think that the '63 had the coolest wheels!

@Soundmound,
Man, I'll tell you! What a show. Thanks so much for all the great photos! I sure wish somebody would put on a show in my, "two horse burg" town. We used to have all that. Shows, cruise-in's, swap meets, all of it. And slowly one by one it all dried up, and over just a few years to. Now there isn't anything at all, no cruise-in's, no shows (of any kind let alone trucks, of any year). It's so sad to have a town slap full of hot rods, race cars, trucks, 'vettes, you name it. This town has more fine cars and trucks than you could imagine and no one ever sees them. I don't understand it. I know there are a ton of cars and trucks in this town because they all used to show up for all the shows and cruise-in's there used to be here. These people don't even drive their cars and trucks around on a nice day, nothing. If the Liberals ever did outlaw gas and custom cars and trucks you'd never know it because no one ever saw them around anyway to realize the loss. That part of America's culture that has been alive for literally generations, will be gone forever. The kids will never have their imaginations stimulated by seeing a fine hot rod or cool pickup truck. You can't tell me there aren't anymore young people who could be some of the futures great car and truck customizer's and auto designer's. They are around but if they never see a blown hemi on a dragster that can do 300 miles per hour they will never know what it's like to imagine something like that.

That's interesting that the show scene has died out in northern Louisiana. I have a buddy on the 400 forum in Lafayette, and he says there's shows every weekend in his area. He has a gorgeous '97 that he takes to his local shows, has won some awards with it. He just got a really sharp Corvette so he'll be showing it too.
I live in Houston, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of shows around here. There was a BBQ place in the suburb I used to live in, and before the pandemic,they had a show on Saturday evening, every weekend except for the dead of winter (or as much of that as we have in SETX). I don't get out that way much anymore so I don't know if it got started up again. On YouTube, I've seen videos of a group that meets in west Houston/Katy/Cypress area, mainly OBS/400 trucks but several square body trucks come too. A lot of the truck scene here is young guys who are on social media, and that's where they talk about the shows. The local diecast collector groups are the same way. Unless you know somebody who knows somebody, you don't find out if you're not in "their cool clique" on the 'Book or the 'Gram.....
