I was wondering if anybody could recognize these seats from my 84 GMC. I know they're not the original bench seats and I was hoping somebody can ID them. Any help would be appreciated.

Im not 100% but i think its an Aftermarket custom truck seat. Seen a couple like it. Upholstery has me wondering tho. What's the seat frame like? Are all 3 of those all on a tube metal frame or individually bolted to the floor?

They are aftermarket. There were a few companies that offered similar seats. Some folks here probably remember how to tell which ones are which. Similar threads have popped up before but I don't recall who had the answers. Maybe it was @Craig 85 ?

I had a 78 K5 that had been JC Whitneyed to death. Anyway, it had an aftermarket seat like that in the front. Tube framing that ran across my lower back...not comfy at all.

I bet the console / rumble seat is attached to the passenger side.
I had a red vortex stepside (gmt400pos) with seats like that in it. Wish I still had them... :( them tubes are square, not round.

Many years ago I replaced my stock seat with an aftermarket that had the fold down center. That seat was like sitting in your Grama‘s living-room couch so comfortable but when time for a restore of the interior I had to go back to the original and get out of the 80’s to go back to the 80’s lol

I have those same seats in my 85 c20, I like then, very comfy, and just dig the real wood center section. I'm thinking I will swap them into the 73K20. Rusty's right the tubing is square! I thought they were a Silverado option...

Southern conversions made seats like that. I remember when I was working at Chevrolet dealership back in the 80s it was an option the dealer would add. We were always installing those things. Comfy seats thou!!!!
