Haven't done much to my square fleet lately.
Only thing ive done to mine was drive it. Finally got to take it on the pavement since the new engine. Ran great. Went out and got gas while the weather was so great the cops are hiding. Got to use the 4wd for the first time in a while. Got her nice and dirty.

Also said goodbye to Larry, My 75 C30. Was time to move on to someone who appreciates it more than me.

Last week, I put new bulbs in the gauge cluster, 1000 wet sanded and buffed the cover lens, and somewhat got the blinkers working, did this after going to the car wash to clean the drive train.

At home with a nasty cold, usually this my day to work on the truck. But I’m just chilling and watching VGG, also taught myself how to fix a non-functional seat belt buckle.

Then the doorbell rang, and my lowering stuff showed up from classic industries.

I'm torn. I don't want to rebuild mine, but I do just to have the originals. Also from CI?

Actually, since I’m on a budget, these are from Flea Bay. But instead of having lubed for life ball joints, they have zerk fittings. And they definitely look quality. After I watched that video about replacing your own bushings, I told myself “Hell no”.

Being in the middle of "rebuilding" my old CAs........... Spend the money and get the new ones !!
Satisfaction of doing it yourself isn't what it's cracked up to be

That looks like quite the ordeal. I know it can be done, but sheesh. Good on you though. I don’t feel like I’d have the patience for that.

I’m at a crossroads with the square. My mind is beginning to care less and less about originality. Which to some is a shame on a rust free 64,000 mile truck, but I’m not selling it and hence don’t care about value.

I may 4 link it, cut the rockers and bed for rock sliders and bob the bed. I’m sick of my buddies’ jeeps. Then again, I may just find something else to beat on. I can’t make up my mind…
